The Florida Keys Bridge
While there are multiple bridges (over 42) in the Florida Keys, the actual bridge most people think of when they think of the Florida Keys is the actual Seven Mile Bridge, affectionately referred to as the “Florida Keys Bridge”.
The Seven Mile Bridge is now listed as a National Historic Site.
This Florida Keys bridge connects part of Marathon to part of the Lower Keys. This bridge is also part of the “Overseas Highway”.
The Seven Mile Bridge has over 400 spans and has been featured in many films such as “True Lies”. While most of the bridge is closer to the water, there’s a larger section for boats to pass under (65 feet).
